ANNOUNCEMENT
The Board are pleased to announce the acquisition of FHC Hire Centres
Ltd.
The Company is engaged in Tool & Plant Hire, and will operate as a
separate Company within the Sydenhams Group. Rick Biddiscombe has been
appointed Director and General Manager of FHC with immediate effect.
Rick will be based at the Frome Branch, with Richard Chalmers
Managing the Warminster Branch.
The Board welcome Rick and his Staff to the Group and wish them success
for the future.

Softwoods Ltd.The company is based at Wickham and has a turnover of £1m
pa.

Sydenhams Ltd, the Bournemouth based timber and builders merchants are
pleased to announce the acquisition of A F Shearn (Bath) Ltd.
Shearns are a long established privately owned builders merchant with a
turnover of £1m pa, and are well known in the Bath area.
“This acquisition will complement our existing business at nearby
Warminster, and continues the expansion plans of the company” said joint
Managing Director Charles Sherborne.
Shearns becomes the 15th branch of Sydenhams.
