“The Garden of Tranquility”

Following on the wave of the award winning sucess at the Hampton Court Flower Show in 2010 (see featured item on our landscaping site) Chris Allen and Alan Card have once more combined their creative skills to design another dramatic show garden.
“The Garden of Tranquility” was constructed at the four day Royal Bath & West Show with landscape materials supplied by Sydenhams Landscape Centre, Gillingham.
The 10m x 10m garden featured a range of Sydenham’s products including natural stone paving and coloured aggregates and a timber seating structure.
A 3m stainless steel Moon Gate emphasised the curved design and merged into the mass planting of trees and shrubs.
Show visitors were able to view the garden by looking along the stepping stone path running between low stainless walls leading to a circular stone patio, through the Moon Gate towards the timber seating.
Planting colours ranged from the many shades of green to bright reds of the seasonal bedding.
