Sydenhams is pleased to support the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
The Flight for Life Business Lottery is perhaps one of the easiest ways for staff in a company to show their support. staff can do their bit for a good cause and maybe get something back, which could be in more ways than one, it's the perfect pain free way to be involved.
Each entrant is entered onto Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance computerised lottery system and every Friday someone wins!!
In the process the money raised by the lottery goes to support the Air Ambulance Service that covers the Dorset & Somerset area. It was felt to be a most viable cause as a large number of Sydenhams branches are in these areas and it is one in which staff are all very likely to be working and driving in at some time. Life is also a lottery and it is good to know that this service can exists as a staff member at our Gillingham branch in Dorset found quite soon after Sydenhams involvement with the lottery when he was involved in an incident that meant the need for an airlift to hospital, you just never know what is around the corner!
Don’t think that it is restricted to dealing with incidents in just Dorset & Somerset because it isn’t, in the event of serious incidents’ the Air Ambulance works across the county borders with other Air Ambulance services.
