Internal Sales / Trade Counter - Reading
We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Internal Sales / Trade Counter Person to join our sales office and shop front for our branch based in Reading.
You will be responding to initial enquiries from both trade and retail customers via telephone and over the counter as well as providing quotes and taking orders. Duties will also include serving customers, ordering stock, goods in and general counter duties including maintaining a safe working environment
Skills:
- Friendly outgoing personality
- High level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Numerate and literate
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Computer Literate
The successful candidate will have previous sales experience in the Merchant and Timber industry, demonstrating first class knowledge of building and landscaping products as well as the ability to work well within a team environment.
Motivated and with an ambitious approach to your role, you will have the ability to balance the provision of excellent customer service with the need to generate sales for the company. Strong communication and people skills are essential.
Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.
