The Babington side gate is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality feather-edge board gate at an affordable price. This gate is framed, ledged, and braced with mortice and tenon joints, ensuring its durability and longevity. Made from softwood and finished with a dipped brown coating, this gate measures 0.9m in width and 1.76m in height. For wall installation, we recommend using cranked band and hook pin on plate hinges (or T hinges) along with a ring latch. For installation between posts, we recommend using a one-way adjustable band and hook pin on plate hinge set along with a ring latch. To ensure proper installation, we recommend using posts that measure at least 2.4m x 100mm x 100mm. Hinges should be a minimum of one-third the width of the gate. Please note that this gate is not suitable for automation.
