Even as the timber naturally dries out and shrinks over time, the seal between the box and the masonry remains intact, preventing any air leakage into the cavity. The inner flange of the cap features convenient push-out pockets for the easy placement of restraining straps as needed. Fully compliant with Building Regulations Part L (Air Leakage), it features a perimeter sealing flange equipped with an airtight foam gasket, ensuring a secure and efficient seal. Rear location tabs provide positive pressure, while cut-out slots allow for the perfect fit of restraining straps as required.
