Melcourt Ornamental Bark Mulch 60L

Melcourt Ornamental Bark Mulch 60L is a premium mulch suitable for a wide range of small-scale professional and domestic landscape applications where a neat and decorative finish is desired. The mulch is naturally acidic and has a rich mid-brown colour with a nominal particle size range of 5mm to 35mm. It's easy to handle, free-flowing and has a long service life of over two years. The mulch is made from sustainably produced British pine, Douglas Fir and larch bark, making it environmentally friendly and 100% peat-free. The product has been tested in accordance with BS 4790:1987 and confirmed to be fire-resistant, making it useful in areas with a high risk of fire. The mulch suppresses weed growth, creating a hostile environment for pests, conserves soil moisture, and improves the soil's organic content as it decomposes. It also substantially enhances the visual appearance of planted areas, insulates against ground freezing and over-heating, and requires little maintenance.
