The Rockwool Thermal Cavity Barrier is a high-performance solution designed to provide exceptional fire protection for timber frame and masonry properties. It meets and surpasses the minimum building regulation requirements for fire resistance in concealed wall cavities, with a tested and assessed integrity and insulation rating of up to 60 minutes. Made from non-combustible stone wool, the barrier is wrapped in a resilient polythene sleeve for weather protection during installation. Measuring 90mm x 90mm x 1200mm, the Thermal Cavity Barrier features a durable construction which ensures long-lasting performance, and is unaffected by building movement, shrinkage, or thermal changes.
