Rustins White Knotting 125ml

Rustins White Knotting is a highly effective solution for sealing knots, resinous, and creosoted timber, preventing them from bleeding through the paint film. It is specially formulated to create a smooth, even surface, suitable for painting. Before applying the knotting, sandpaper the surface smooth to prepare it for the application. Once applied, avoid sandpapering the knotting as it may affect the quality of the finish. For optimal results, it is recommended to completely seal resinous and creosoted timber with two coats. This knotting is suitable for bare wood and should be left to dry for at least one hour before priming. It is also easy to clean as brushes can be washed with methylated spirits.
