Working Towards Net Zero Homes
Most of us have heard the term net zero in recent years, but what exactly does it mean? Put simply, net zero means balancing the amount of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emitted with the amount removed from the atmosphere.
Which is where we come in. As a tree grows, it captures and stores carbon from the air, which remains stored even when the wood is used in construction. This limits the release of carbon from timber frames into the environment. Not only is our primary building material helping towards achieving net zero homes, but we also provide several in-house services that commit to a net-zero future.
Our work with GRWN Group, demonstrates our ability to help fuel sustainability focused businesses. BIM Models are produced for all Sydenhams GRWN Homes, using industry standard Autodesk Revit Software. Our models include walls, floors, and roofs for seamless interaction and collaboration with Architects, Engineers, M&E designers and alike.
Please get in-touch to find out more about our net zero commitments, services and how we can help to make your projects sustainably future proofed.
