Our Erection Teams

Our fully qualified and dedicated team of erectors work to the very highest of standards, completing all works to STA Guidance, our aim is to provide the following as standard:

• Pre-determination of erection program and prepare schedule of works, providing all risk assessments and methods statements.
• Erect all panels load bearing partitions internally and externally.
• Erect all floor joists and deck where specified.
• Precise assembly of cut and pre-manufactured floor and roof components including all bracing.
• Roof sheathing and firrings pieces.
• Strict observance of time constraints, regardless of weather.
• Ability to ensure and promote good customer relations.
• Following strict H&S programmes in conjunction with site managers.

All our sub contracted erection teams are fully STA approved, meaning they are certified in following safe systems of work and are certified as part of the TFCAS. For more information check out the STA website.

All projects are different and may require further installation works by our team, this will be detailed at our quotation stage. This may include Contract Crane Lifts, fitting of fire barriers or installation of felt and batten, soffits and fascia.

Sydenhams pride ourself in quality and have an in depth sign off procedure conducted by our site manager, which highlights any snagging requirements before we leave site.  It will also bring to their attention their responsibilities to ensure Cavity Barriers are installed correctly and not damaged by following trades.
